How to add every major model to Cherry Studio
Cherry Studio is a beautiful desktop client — but juggling a provider account per model vendor is not. Cradler Router is one key and one balance for Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, and Grok, and it imports into Cherry Studio with a single click.
One-click configure
Paste your Router key and click — Cherry Studio opens its confirmation dialog with the provider, API address, and key pre-filled. The link is built locally; your key never leaves this page.
Manual setup
Prefer to click through yourself? In Cherry Studio open Settings → Model providers → Add and enter:
Type: OpenAI
API address: https://router.cradler.ai/v1
API key: your sk-cr-… key
Then fetch the model list and pick a model. For Claude, add a second provider of type Anthropic with the address https://router.cradler.ai (no /v1) and the same key.

How does the one-click import work?
Cherry Studio registers the cherrystudio:// URL protocol on install. The button on this page builds an official import link containing the provider name, API address, and your key — entirely inside your browser, nothing is uploaded — and opening it hands the config to Cherry Studio, which asks you to confirm.
Do I need separate OpenAI, DeepSeek, or xAI accounts?
No. Cradler Router is one account, one balance, and one key for every model it carries. Top up by card (Alipay and WeChat Pay coming soon) and every model draws from the same balance.
Why do Claude or Gemini models fail on this provider?
The imported provider speaks the OpenAI protocol, and on Cradler Router Claude models are served over the Anthropic protocol only. To use Claude inside Cherry Studio, add a second provider of type Anthropic with the API address https://router.cradler.ai (no /v1) and the same key.
Which models should I pick in Cherry Studio?
On the imported (OpenAI-type) provider use GPT (gpt-5.5, gpt-5.4-mini), DeepSeek (deepseek-v4-pro, deepseek-v4-flash-free is free), or Grok (grok-4.6). The full live price list is on the Router pricing page.
Is pasting my key here safe?
The import link is generated locally by JavaScript running in your browser; the key is never transmitted to cradler.ai or anywhere else — it goes straight from the page into the Cherry Studio app on your machine.
